Learn German free, sounds to good to be true and it is! BUT you can certainly learn some basic German for free and see if learning another language is for you.
The reasons people learn another language are many and varied. Often we learn that language because of our job or because we desire to travel to that country.
My main reason for learning German was that I was dealing a lot with Germany as part of the business I was involved in. I found it very convenient to talk to my suppliers in German, although their English was in most cases excellent, I felt it would be polite to learn to speak in their native tongue. I needed to learn to do that fast.
I guess I have less patience and less time than had when I was still a teenager. The last thing I wanted to do was to go back to university or go to night school to learn a language. I needed something I could do whenever I managed to get a quiet time at work or at home. It had to be something quick, I needed to find a course that guaranteed I would be speaking German fluently in a short time or my money back. I found this in this German course.
